Challenge Sanremo will take place in Sanremo, Italy, on 4 October 2026. It features a middle‑distance triathlon (1.9 km swim / 90 km bike / 21.1 km run) and a sprint triathlon (0.75 km swim / 20 km bike / 5 km run). The swim course is in the Mediterranean Sea, in a marine-protected area. The bike course is challenging and hilly, climbing through coastal and inland towns with over 1,600 meters of elevation gain before descending back to Sanremo. The run is flat and flowing, with three laps on a seafront cycle‑pedestrian path including the scenic Capo Nero tunnel. The race is part of the Challenge Family series and serves as a championship event.
