SportsPal is a community-driven platform that helps athletes discover sports events, connect with organisers, and find their next race or training opportunity. Whether you're into swimming, running, cycling, or triathlon, SportsPal brings together events from across the region in one easy-to-browse platform. We're currently focused on the UAE and expanding soon.

Yes! SportsPal is completely free for athletes. You can browse events, filter by sport and location, save events you're interested in, and connect your Strava account — all at no cost. Organisers can list events through our platform with flexible plan options.

You can sign up using your email address, Google account, Facebook account, or Strava account. If you sign up with Strava, we'll automatically detect which sports you're active in so you see the most relevant events from day one.

When you connect your Strava account, SportsPal imports your sport preferences and training summary to personalise your experience. Your training data is only visible to you on your account page — it's never shared publicly or with other users. You can disconnect Strava at any time from your account settings.

SportsPal features a wide range of events including open-water swims, running races (from 5K to ultramarathons), cycling sportives, triathlons, duathlons, aquathlons, and more. Events range from beginner-friendly community rides to competitive championship races. Use the sport filters at the top of the page to narrow down what you're looking for.

Each event listing on SportsPal includes all the details you need — date, location, distances, pricing, and registration links. Click on any event to see the full details, then follow the organiser's registration link to sign up directly. SportsPal helps you discover events; registration is handled by the event organiser.

We'd love to have you on board! Organisers can create an account and submit events through our organiser dashboard. You'll be able to add event details, upload images, manage listings, and reach thousands of athletes in the region. Visit the organiser section or contact us at [email protected] to get started.

SportsPal currently focuses on sporting events in the UAE, with strong coverage across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and the Northern Emirates. We're actively working to expand into other GCC countries and beyond. If you know of events in your area that should be listed, let us know!

Absolutely. Use the sport pills at the top of the homepage to filter by Swimming, Running, Cycling, or Triathlon. You can also filter by city using the location selector. More advanced filtering options including date ranges and distance categories are coming soon.

Yes. We take data privacy seriously. Your personal information is never sold to third parties. If you connect Strava, your training data is only visible to you. We use industry-standard security practices and you can read our full Privacy Policy for complete details. You can delete your account or disconnect third-party services at any time.

We're constantly improving the platform. Upcoming features include advanced event search filters, personalised event recommendations, an AI-powered athlete assistant, event reviews and ratings, and expansion to more countries across the Middle East. Stay tuned — this is just Phase 1!
