1. Acceptance of Terms

2. About the Platform
The SportsPal is a sports event discovery and athlete community platform that connects athletes with events, coaches, training groups, shops, and services. The Platform is operated from Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
3. Account Registration
To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You may register using your email address, or by authenticating through a third-party service (Google, Strava, or Facebook). When you create an account, you agree to:
Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
Keep your account credentials secure and confidential.
Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account on the Platform.
4. Third-Party Authentication
When you register or log in using a third-party service (Google, Strava, or Facebook), you authorise us to access certain information from that service as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.
5. User Content
You may submit content to the Platform, including profile information, reviews, and other materials ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you:
Confirm that you own or have the necessary rights to the content.
Grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute your User Content on the Platform.
Agree not to submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we consider inappropriate, without prior notice.
6. Acceptable Use
When using the Platform, you agree not to:

Use the Platform for any fraudulent or illegal purpose.
7. Event Listings and Business Profiles
The Platform displays event listings, business profiles, coach profiles, and other information provided by third-party organisers and businesses. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any third-party content. You acknowledge that:
Event details (dates, locations, prices) are provided by organisers and may change without notice.
Business and coach profiles are maintained by the businesses and coaches themselves.
Any transactions or interactions with businesses, coaches, or event organisers are between you and that third party.
We are not a party to any agreement between you and a third-party organiser, business, or coach.
8. Reviews
The Platform allows users to leave reviews for businesses and services. Reviews must be honest, based on genuine experience, and comply with our Acceptable Use policy. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are fraudulent, abusive, or that violate these Terms. We do not edit or modify the content of reviews.
9. Intellectual Property
The Platform, including its design, logos, text, graphics, and software, is owned by The SportsPal and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Platform without our written consent.
The Strava name, logo, and brand assets are trademarks of Strava, Inc. The Google name and logo are trademarks of Google LLC. The Facebook name and logo are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc. All other trademarks belong to their respective owners.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The SportsPal and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or any damages related to your interactions with third-party businesses, coaches, or event organisers listed on the Platform.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The SportsPal and its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately, and we may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by posting a notice on the Platform. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when these Terms were last revised. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
