FAWZ Concept

Tailored triathlon coaching from two pro triathletes, in Dubai and online.

Fawz Concept was founded in Dubai by Filipe Azevedo, a Portuguese pro triathlete with four Ironman 70.3 titles and five top-15 finishes at the 70.3 World Championship. He coaches with Lottie Lucas, a pro with ten podiums over the 70.3 and Ironman distances, who raced the Ironman World Championship in Kona in 2025. Fawz is Arabic for winning, and the team's idea is that winning is not kept for race day.

Every plan is written for the athlete, around their goals, their week and their physiology, in TrainingPeaks with feedback on every session. The squad of around forty athletes trains in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Fujairah and as far away as Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Denmark and Portugal, from first-time triathletes to Kona finishers.

Three age-group podiums at the Ironman and Ironman 70.3 World Championships, and more than thirty age-group podiums at Ironman and 70.3 races worldwide.
Five athletes who moved up from age group to pro.
Close to home in October 2026: Filipe won the Olympic distance at the Dubai Police and Ajman triathlons, and a Fawz athlete won it at the Mamzar Triathlon.

Personal training, tests and video analysis

On top of any plan

Personal training in swimming, cycling, running or strength, one-to-one or two or three together: AED 350 to 800 a session.

Fitness assessment: a swim, bike or run test, then new training zones in TrainingPeaks. Technique analysis: a filmed session broken down. AED 500 to 800 each.

Race as a team

Fawz kit, from local sprints to Kona

Fawz athletes race together in the team's kit. In October 2026 Filipe won the Olympic distance at the Dubai Police and Ajman triathlons and a Fawz athlete won it at the Mamzar Triathlon; at T100 Dubai in November 2025 a Fawz athlete won the age-group race for the second year running, and the squad came home with a string of personal bests.

This year Fawz athletes also raced the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Nice and the Ironman World Championship in Kona, and the team went to Portugal for its training camp.
