Emirates Villages Run Series: Race 1 - Fujairah

The Emirates Villages Run Series (EVRS) returns for its second year in 2026, bringing the UAE’s communities together during the Year of Family to celebrate wellness, togetherness, culture, and community through a nationwide running platform with over AED 1,000,000 in prize money across all races.

In Qidfa, the sea provides the setting for the beginning and end of the race, with runners starting and finishing along the corniche at Qidfa Beach. From the coast, the route heads inland and onto the historic trails surrounding the Emirati farms of Qidfa, introducing participants to a landscape shaped by generations of local farming and community life. The contrast between the open beachfront and traditional farm trails gives the course its character, creating a journey that connects Qidfa’s natural surroundings with its rich local heritage.
