Emirates Villages Run Series: Race 3 - Sharjah

The Emirates Villages Run Series (EVRS) returns for its second year in 2026, bringing the UAE’s communities together during the Year of Family to celebrate wellness, togetherness, culture, and community through a nationwide running platform with over AED 1,000,000 in prize money across all races.

At the recently opened Al Hefaiyah Lake, the lake itself becomes the centrepiece of the course. Runners follow the route around the full perimeter of the water, completing additional laps according to their chosen distance. Every lap brings changing views across the lake, while the spectacular mountains rise around the course to create an impressive natural setting. The combination of open water, mountain scenery and a purpose-built family destination makes Al Hefaiyah Lake a truly scenic addition to the EVRS, offering an enjoyable experience for both competitive runners and families.
