Emirates Villages Run Series: Race 5 - Ajman

The Emirates Villages Run Series (EVRS) returns for its second year in 2026, bringing the UAE’s communities together during the Year of Family to celebrate wellness, togetherness, culture, and community through a nationwide running platform with over AED 1,000,000 in prize money across all races.

In Masfout, runners gather beneath the iconic Masfout Gate, which serves as both the start and finish of this spectacular mountain community route. The course combines paved roads with the rugged gravel of the wadi bed, taking participants through a landscape very different from the UAE’s coastal and urban running environments. The 10km distance adds an extra highlight, with runners passing directly through the historic gate itself. Framed by the surrounding Hajar Mountains, Masfout delivers a challenging and visually striking experience that celebrates the distinctive character of Ajman’s mountain community.
