HIGHLANDER camp grounds are designed like festivals, with a host of activities, workshops, live music and activations designed to build connection through unique shared experiences.

HIGHLANDER offers an inclusive, well-supported experience that allows you to focus on pushing your limits and connecting with nature, all while being part of a vibrant and welcoming community. We’ve got everything covered, all you need to do is train, carry your overnight pack, and hike!

OUR DIFFERENT FORMATS

HIGHLANDER Australia offers a variety of experiences through 5 distinct formats, each catering to different lengths and challenges.

• HIGHLANDER Lyra, a 1 day hiking experience, perfect for first timers or those not quite ready to sleep under the stars. It is the ideal introduction to the Highlander spirit without the overnight stay.
• HIGHLANDER Orion, a 2 day hiking experience, offers the chance to immerse yourself in the HIGHLANDER ADVENTURE concept by hiking over consecutive days and enjoying our signature mini-festival campsite.
• HIGHLANDER Pegasus, a 3-day hiking experience, strikes the perfect balance between adventure and immersion. With two nights under the stars, it offers the chance to journey deeper into nature, enjoy the rhythm of multi-day hiking, and fully embrace the HIGHLANDER community spirit at camp.
• HIGHLANDER Hercules, a 5-day hiking experience, is the ultimate adventure for those seeking the fullest challenge and reward. It promises complete disconnection, a powerful test of endurance, and the deepest connection with both the alpine wilderness and the HIGHLANDER tribe.

CAREFULLY DESIGNED ROUTES

Our carefully crafted routes are designed to provide the ultimate hiking experience, offering stunning landscapes and varied terrains so you can fully enjoy the best of the range.

You will have access to a detailed physical map, a GPX track for your device, and access to a digital map that works offline, so you can stay on track even without mobile reception.

FOOD & DRINKS

Enjoy a worry-free adventure with all camping-type meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner) and snacks included in your registration.

From nourishing breakfasts to energy-packed dinners prepared by Offgrid Provisions, every meal* is thoughtfully crafted to keep you fuelled throughout your journey.

You'll also receive a selection of trail snacks to keep you energised between checkpoints, including Chief Nutrition paleo bars, beef biltong, collagen bars, and Offgrid energy bars.

Beverages are also covered with coffee or tea to kick off your day, to a range of refreshments at the campgrounds including water, tea, coffee, and electrolyte drinks.

Partaking in our HIGHLANDER Adventure means you'll also get to experience the magic of evenings spent at our vibrant campsites, where the journey doesn’t end with the day’s hike. What truly sets HIGHLANDER apart is our unique mini festival-like* atmosphere, turning each campsite into a space of connection, inspiration, and celebration.

As the sun sets, you'll come together with fellow hikers to share stories around the campfire, enjoy live music, take part in wellness and movement sessions, and join hands-on workshops. From yoga and breathwork to stargazing, nature talks, and sustainability sessions, every activity is thoughtfully designed to help you slow down, reconnect, learn insightful tips and make the most of your adventure.
