Umm Al Quwain Department of Tourism And Archaeology

Department of Tourism and Archaeology  was established by the Emiri Decree No. 01 of 2019 issued by His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of UAQ.

Department of Tourism and Archaeology aims to coordinate the development and promotion of tourism locally and internationally in line with the cultural heritage and authentic values of Emirati society. It focuses on promoting the Emirate's historical and cultural heritage and preserving monuments and national identity, bringing many benefits to the nation.

Department of Tourism and Archaeology works on developing the tourism and archaeological sector in the Emirate, in coordination with authorities, by investing in environmental and cultural capabilities. It also provides programs and experts supporting various projects that enhance UAQ's position as one of the most important tourist destinations in the UAE.

Department of Tourism and Archaeology supervises the preparation of legislation, rules, and regulations for the tourism and archaeology sectors. It spearheads efforts to enhance the quality of services provided to tourists, applying world-class standards and practices to attract tourists from all over the world.
